There are many ways to explore this concept from your closet to grocery shopping and even the way we choose to organize our favorite phone apps.

]]>We wanted to keep our brand promise of using high-performing formulas and simply selling a setting powder that just sets your under-eye wasn’t a priority.
We searched the market and found that while some brands used talc, others did not use it and kept the ingredients man-made using clean chemicals. (Completely fine too, but we wanted skincare benefits, the packaging to be intentional as well as reusable.
Some areas that we wanted to innovate were both on formula and lessening the environmental impact. If the idea behind this product is to use plant-based ingredients, then the packaging should be green too!
After a few months of research and seeing what would be the best renewable option for this product, we thought paper cardboard would be the best option. After its served its purpose in your beauty routine, it can return to nature as a living organ.
After designing the product for months in my head I decided to sketch a few possible ways for its graphic design and decided for a minty green concept, it would make your senses crave matcha on your face. The name came after Fresh Face Setting Powder.
This powder not only controls your natural oils while helping maintain your makeup throughout the day, but green tea and cranberry prevents skin redness as well as boosting your skin’s collagen production.
We made all Fresh Face Talc-Free Vegan Setting Powder intending to enhance your natural beauty while enhancing your wellness goals. Our skin is truly magical, especially when feeding it nourishing ingredients.
We hope you enjoy this product, beauty starts inside out.

The first place we must be aware of to create glowing AM skin is inside the shower. We should not be using the same towel for our body as the one we use for our face, same with soap, because our face is more delicate than the rest of our body while also having a different pH level. Experts recommend having a separate towel or looking for disposable face towels online, there are even biodegradable ones now in the market.
So what exactly is Ph?
Ph means potential hydrogen, and it refers to the level of acidity of certain substances. Understanding and keeping a healthy Ph is very important to our overall skin health which is why I was so eager to share about it as the cold winter season begins. The ph scale ranges from 1 to 14, with 7 being considered neutral pH. The lower numbers of pH are the acidic numbers, while the higher digits are the opposite: the alkaline or nonacidic numbers.
Surprisingly, a healthy skin pH is more on the acidic side, and with more acidity, your skin can combat harmful microbes and damaging free radicals that might speed up the aging process. (We don’t want that, well at least I don’t.)
I have a deadly sin during fall and winter and that’s washing my face with steaming hot water! Feels amazing but it's deadly on our faces (I do it unconsciously). After showering, my face is left with redness and looks as though I had a bad breakout.
During quarantine, I’ve gotten my skin routine down to exclusively washing my face in the sink, with cold or lukewarm water, and honestly, it does my face so good!
Another thing to have in mind are toners, setting sprays, and which ones could make your skin have better days ahead.
For regulating Ph, as well as soothing irritated skin and eczema, oats have amazing anti-inflammatory properties. Simply use them as face masks, they work wonders!
Black tea leaves are great if you have puffiness and redness in the morning. I’d recommend boiling them in hot water then pouring into a separate glass container and applying them with a cotton pad. Its soothing benefits will show up in a few weeks! Also, recent studies have shown this tea protects our skin from UV radiation, as someone that’s constantly on the computer, I sure need black tea in my life! (don’t we all)
Lastly, my overall favorite skin ingredient is aloe vera! It seriously is magic for your skin. Some of its wonders is supplying oxygen to cells, it helps prevent aging, promotes acne healing as well as helping treat acne scars due to its natural abilities to kill bacteria. Also, this amazing earth plant is great for treating dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and helping reduce puffiness.
It’s no wonder we thought of aloe vera as one of our hero ingredients for our Aloe and Shea Butter foundation. This foundation lets your skin breathe, while the formula nourishes your skin with organic ingredients. It’s 90% plant-based, gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO.
