How do I recycle Pyra Beauty Products?


Because we share your commitment and love of our planet Earth, Pyra Beauty loose powders are made in  biodegradable packaging. After finishing each product to full extent, simply wash and reuse the cardboard jars as plant pots. 


What is biodegradable packaging?


Biodegradable is a type of material that can decompose into natural elements under the action of microorganisms within a short period of time after disposal. 



What if I order the wrong shade? Can it be exchanged?


We recognize ordering cosmetics online can be difficult, so we offer a foundation quiz to find the best match for foundation. Due to our current situation and everyone’s health we are not accepting returns of products. 

Once you purchase, if you decide the product is just not for you, we offer an exchange on products for 30 days after delivery. We will be happy to exchange your product for you or provide a store credit if you'd like to try something else. Please send an email to hello@pyrabeauty.com  and we will provide guidance on how to exchange your item.


Our policy lasts 30 days after delivery. If 30 days have gone by since your package was received, we may not be able to offer you an exchange.

How can I change or exchange my order? 


Contact us within one hour of placing your order to our customer service email hello@pyrabeauty.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.


When will I get my refund? 


Once we receive your return, please allow up to 10 business days for it to be processed. Please be aware that there may be an additional waiting period from your bank to post the refund to your account. Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment. We’ll send you an email when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way.


When I exchanged a product I noticed there were  two transactions on my credit card. Why does this happen? 


When an exchange is requested, it is completed in two steps:

1) A credit is issued for the item(s) returned.

2) A new order is processed for the item(s) requested in exchange.

Two transactions will be posted to your account: a credit for the returned item(s) and one charge for the item(s) requested in exchange. While both transactions are processed in our systems at the same time, please note that the issuing bank/credit card company may take up to 10 business days to post the credit to your account.


What happens when I order a a pre- order product? 


Pre-Order is when you purchase  a product prior to the date on which it becomes available for immediate purchase on www.pyrabeauty.com. When you purchase a Pre-Order item, we will provide an estimated ship date for that item on your order confirmation email; Pre-Order items may ship separately from other items in your order, and you will receive a shipping confirmation email when the shipment occurs. If we are unable to ship your product by the estimated ship date, we will provide you with notice and you will have an option to cancel.

How much is shipping? 


All shipping rates will vary depending on a few different factors such as total weight of package, and selected shipping methods. 


Do you ship internationally? 


Not at the moment but we will soon ship outside of the USA. Subscribe to our email list to be one of the first to know when we will shipping available internationally to all fresh skin lovers.

Where are your products made? 


Our formulas are made in the USA and our packaging is made overseas. Material and ingredients  that are sourced from other parts of the world, we work closely with our manufacturing partners to   ensure they comply with the highest quality, efficacy and country regulations. 


Does Pyra beauty develop its own formulas?


We strive to provide the best products for you and your health. Some of the products are made in house while others do require stricter quality control guidelines  therefore they are fulfilled with the support of outside manufacturing.

Do you offer custom brand manufacturing? 


At the moment our efforts are focused on the  growth of Pyra Beauty through finding the best plant sourced ingredients, investigating future sustainable packaging options to lower environmental impact, and creating user- friendly technology to create the best experiential shopping experiences online. 


What is an indie brand?

Indie brand means independently owned and operated. There is passion, purpose and a founder with a story behind the products. 


Ingredients


Are your products 100% organic? 


In a perfect world, products would be completely organic. RIght? But the truth is, we need preservatives and ingredients that will help extend shelf life and won’t harm your health. Pyra beauty believes in our own philosophy of clean, safe beauty where we harness the best naturally derived ingredients while harnessing man made ingredients that are necessary to create a long-lasting effect, a mix of both worlds. 


What is clean beauty?

Since there’s no legal or official definition each brand defines clean beauty in a way that best describes what they stand for. For pyra beauty, clean beauty means redefining beauty standards, celebrating inclusivity while also educating ourselves and knowing what ingredients will do more for our health rather than just promising great coverage. 


Do you use talc in your products? 

No we don’t. We have substituted talc for plant- derived igredients. 

Do you use carmine in your products? 

No. We don’t use animal derived cosmetic coloring. 

Are there any animal derived ingredients in your formulas? 

No there isn’t. All of our products contain only mineral and plant- based formulas. 

Do your products contain SPF? 

Our shea butter and aloe foundation due to its shea butter composition has an SPF of about 6-7. We would recommend using your preferred liquid SPF to accompany your glowing skin. 

What is the difference between cruelty- free vs. vegan? 

Cruelty- Free products have not tested on animals. Vegan products do not contain animal derived ingredients.

Can a product be cruelty- free and use talc in their formula? 

Absolutely. Many brands don’t test on animals but still choose to use different formulations due to stability in their formulas. Pyra Beauty is not one of them.
